  1. they ARE going to find THEIR car and repo it, i'm not sure if they would involve the police but if they did you would have to give them the car or lie to them. i am surprised they haven't taken it from your job or another place that you are known to frequent. i would try to make some payments or something to make sure that your credit isn't completly shot, they would rather have something than have you ducking them.

  2. Yes, they will eventually involve police by filing what is called a Replevin with the court.

You will be required, more than likely to appear in court, and ordered to surrender the vehicle or be jailed.  The car will be auctioned, you will owe the deficiency balance and the bank will also more than likely sue to recoup their legal expenses.

I'm assuming you're driving the car.  I was an "Asset Recovery Officer" at my local bank and I always thought it was so stupid for people who refused to pay their note and lock the car in the garage for months unable to drive because they knew that if they took it out, it would eventually be picked up...

Give the car back, make things easier for yourself, you can't keep what you are not paying for...geeze.

  3. Unless you are actively trying to hide the vehicle from the repo men, it's highly unlikely you would face any kind of legal consequences. Chances are they will simply get a court order to repo the vehicle and have the local police or sheriffs department assist in locating the vehicle.

  4. They'll get it.  You're just kidding yourself if you think you can get away with it for long.  And, by the way, expect to be sued and have your wages/bank account garnished.

  5. They will get the car.

And, the harder they have to work to get it....the higher the repo fees that you will end up paying.

The bank will sell the car to satisfy the note. They probably will get less than you owe. Then they still hold you responsible for the remaining balance and expenses (yep, repo costs).

It will just end up costing you more in the long run.

  6. they will get it and you will be charge for everytime they tried and you didn't have it there.

They will sell it for what ever they can get and sue you for the rest, and garnish your wages if they have to.

You would have been better off to sell it when you couldn't make your payments and buy something you could afford.

  7. I don't know where you live, but in my state, concealing an asset from the lien holder is a crime.

They can also sue you, which will make things worse because you will be liable for their legal expenses and a judgment is worse than a repo or an unpaid debt.

  8. they will eventually get it

  9. I really dunno anything about this kinda thing, but what I DO know is that when ppl get in2 a jam they sell their vehicles & in this case they may have some 1 else take over pmts. if the repo man's looking 4 yer car then empty it out B4 he arrives & B4 he DOES find U cuz if u do not retrieve yer belongings u'll lose them & will hafta drive a loooooooooooong dis 2 get them, a frienda mine did when he lost a vehicle he thot was stolen....... only 2 have the pd inform him it was repoed. the BEST thing u can do 2 avoid having liens on yer assets is save up & buy it outright. I have a car pd in full & don't owe nothing on it & there'll NEVER B ANY liens against it.

  10. Have you heard the saying you can run but you can't hide?

Well this applies to you, they are going to find you and they are going to take your car.

The police won't get involved in debt but you will end up with bailiffs coming to your house and where you work.

They want your car or the money and they will get it sooner or later no matter how much you hide.

You can't be happy having to live like that, not knowing who is at the door or when they are going to call.

Try and sort something out with them or just hand the car back.

Every time they have to visit your house they will add more money onto what you owe, so you are going to end up with court fees and bailiffs charges.
