I"m trying to learn how to skateboard?

any tips please! i have a standard board... idk what exactly but can't really do anything. advice please! thanks :)

they actually help. just type "skateboarding tricks" or somthing like that

have freinds to skate with i started skating alone and after 6 months i could barely pop shove it then i started sakting with freinds and you get competative drive to learn new tricks

You can skate regularly and get the hang of keeping your balance. It also depends on what width of the board are you comfortable with a 7.5 might work.

Try going to a local skate park and watch some of the kids there and talk to them about tricks they can do and how they do them,=.

the ollie- back foot on tail, front foot middle to tail of board. Push down on tail, smack it hard on the ground and jump up in one motion off the back foot. The front foot is halfway up the board. By pushing the back the front wants to go up. Lift the front foot with the board, You know making it diagonal and pop up. All at the same time pretty fast, slide this front foot forward to level out the board. keeping both feet above the board while jumping. All at almost the same time. Try to land with feet above the trucks, back foot still on tail is fine too. It mostly takes confidence or balls to stay above the board and land on it. Will likely take lots of practice especially if no one is showing you how. Skate magazines used to have articles on how to do tricks, probably on the net and youtube DIY.

first get comfortable with riding it everywhere, then learn tricks

Well, your just getting started so learn to ride and turn and stuff and then learn to ollie, maybe go on youtube and watch a couple of skateboard trick tip videos or maybe if u have skater friends ask them for a little help and have fun skating
