  1. 3.1 is a 5k and yes that is very good . You need to practice and it should come down further. Check a local race to see finish times of your age group. Most of the time these times will vary from race to race by only a small margin.

  2. that is a very good time.

i sudjest looking up 5km races and see the times people have done.

but keep in mind that some people run 5km for a living.

but it is a good scale to measure up too !

  3. if your a girl thats awesome!! you will probably drop it some more if you keep practicing and sign up for a fun run or something.

if your a guy, thats still good.

    either way good luck!

  4. Thats a pretty good time.  I just did my 5K race two nights ago  at 25 minutes (hills all the way, it was a tough course - age 44F)  If speed is what your after, go for it.  Your speedy already...:)

  5. Yes not a bad time to start with. Comments about male/female are right. In both instances it is worthwhile for you to look at getting a good training program and having a go at the sport and some more races. Traning programs from Arther Lydiard or Pete Pfitzinger books are pretty good.
