Yes, it is soothing to the tooth, however if you are having pain then there is a problem and you need to address that as soon as possible before you have major problems such as infection and a possible root canal.  You should go to the dentist tomorrow. BTW....the pain will not go away until you have the dentist take care of the problem

I got a bottle of Eugenol at the pharmacy where other tooth pain products were.  It really does work.  You only get a small bottle, as that's all you need really.

clove oil is avalable in any drug stores but eugenol can be bought from dental stores.

yes, it removes the pain TEMPORARILY.
