  1. Unless you plan to tell us that blondes taste better than brunettes, your question here is posted in the wrong place. In fact, it is not even a question.

If you know anything about Italian History you will realize that before it became unified under one government, cities like Milan, Florence and Naples were under foreign rule, and were fought over by countries such as France. It is incorrect to believe that all Italians are dark, or that all Irish are redheaded and green eyed.

  2. There are many especially in the Nothern parts of Italy like Milan or Venice

  3. some people dont know it but i do because i work with a italian guy who have blond hair and blue eyes. he is from italy to. (not american or anything i mean)

  4. I'm not sure how this is a food question. I can see how it could become a blond joke, though. : )

  5. Your statement caught my eye. It has nothing to do with food... but, since I'm from Trieste too... and oh... I'm blond as well, I thought I'd write a comment. You should know that parts of Northern of Italy were under Austrian rule (blond people). Many Slavic people  (also blonds) have come and gone, due to border fluctuation over the years. Just like in the South there were Arab, Greek, Spanish and Albanian influences, and therefore dark Italians have resulted. So, not a big surprise that there are blonds in the Northern part of Italy.

How 'bout a recipe for potiza or iota now? ;)
