some group of scientists took a bunch of people, tested their estrogen levels than did some other test on them and found that the people with more estrogen had a higher need to control and be in charge

how is this possible?? shouldnt it be the other way?

  1. oh, i agree with you because i thought i lack estrogen and that's why i hate conformity and submission. But what u've found makes me question the relationship between fat ratio and estrogen. Usually women with very little fat on their body has lower estrogen level (shown in the article below). and it also has things to do with the thyroid condition. So, my theory is that physically fragile women with low estrogen level would tend to prefer being under control rather than being in control.

  2. I read about that too. Did you know that most people in jail have very high estrogen levels? The higher the level the more aggressive you are. It's just the way it is.

  3. Yes, it should be the other way.  Menopause rules!  Now go make me a sandwich.

  4. I have alot of oestrogen! 36F cup and hourglass here and I do not think oestrogen makes people want to be in charge..society,social pressures and certain political movements encourage people that anything that is not a leader and an alpha dictating to all and with an overblown ego, is wrong and inferior..the need to be in charge is a conditioning that it is better

  5. "scientifically proven" when used in the context of human behavior is an oxymoron

I would think higher levels of any hormone lead to more aggressive behavior, estrogen or testosterone

  6. Oh what a cheeky set-up of a question.

    My translation:

"Women want to be in charge because of their hormones".
