  1. No, don't do it. It's worthless.

Contact the concessions directly, that's the easiest way.

    www.hardingbros.co.uk

    or

    www.starboardcruise.com

they run shops on most all ships or around 90%.

The work at the shops is easy, pays well and you are a staff member rather than a crew member, which is a lot better.

Also since the shops are usually duty free you get port days off, so you get to see the sights etc.

I've worked reception before the shops and it's ok too, but a lot more work and not usually the same $$.

There is one site quite good with tips, addresses, how to make a resume etc... but it's a paid site.

    its at http://www.workoncruiseships.com/

it's actually quite good, there's a forum with former crew members and such.

Other than that one I've never seen a site or agency on line that actually gets you a ship job.

They are all a waste of money and time.

But contacting either the cruise lines directly or the concessions there's a good chance of employment.

The turnover on ships is huge, they always need new people.

    good luck

    PS Hardings does phone interviews.

  2. You need to explore the on line educational site to gain knowledge about the courses i know one of the educational site which can help you to find the on line courses which is http://www.sgpak.com

  3. I'm not sure if that 'diploma' is ok.

You do need experience to work in the bars. You could perhaps work in a bar near you for a year and then apply to the cruise ship company for a job.

Why not email/contact Princess and ask them. They recruit about twice a year.

    http://www.princesscruises.com

they have a 'contact us' at the bottom of the page.

Catererglobal.com advertise twice a year, I think it's April and August.

You go in  there, click on the type of job, then click 'worldwide' then cruise.  There's no bar jobs at present but there maybe others
