  1. It will never happen. It would brings scores down and new record couldn't be compared to the old records.

Why don't baseball players get to use aluminum bats? They'd be knocking out of the parks contently.

  2. They were probably referring to a Bucket Cup Tournament, where the hole is widened to a larger diameter.  Courses stage these events all the time.

  3. Most likely referring to the cup size for miniature golf courses where the contestants need all the help they can get. The present cup size was developed in Scotland, assumed by the R & A and used as the standard cup size in the States by the USGA. The cup depth is also designated and the liner has to be a certain depth  below the surface of the green unless the soil composition will not allow it.

  4. If it ain't broke...  Don't change a thing.

  5. EWWW!  Terrible idea.  This ain't minature golf.  Everybody has their problems putting from time to time.  You just have to work at it.  I went through a spell where I couldn't make short putts just recently.  Then I realized that I really hadn't been practicing as of late.  So I practiced and that problem has gone away.

  6. Makes no sense.  We have been trying for hundreds of years to get the ball into the current size cup.  Why all of sudden make that easier?  Besides how stupid and incompetent would you feel when you three putted to a huge cup the size of a bushel basket?
