I read that Golden/Silver fabric paint needs to be mixed with a medium before painting. what is that?

i am taking interest in fabric painting, i have bought some fabric paints, including golden and silver, and i started to read on internet about it, but i found very little about what i need.

how do you prepare paints, and especially the golden and silver paint?

The company whose paints you have bought should supply full details for what you need, if anything (any chance of posting up which brand?), which normally comes as a leaflet.  It should say, anyway, on the side of the jar or tube if you need a medium.  I've never heard of metallics needing something the basic colours didn't need.

If it's labeled "fabric paint", it's probably ready to use. If it needs to be mixed with anything, it will be clearly stated on the label.
