Would grouper taste good? Has anyone tried this? I recently caught a 32lb grouper and have it taking up alot of room in the freezer....

  1. Grouper would be awesome!  Man, I wish I had a couple pounds of your fresh grouper right now!  Mmmmm!

  2. Fish is Fish. I've had it with Cod, Halibut, Tilapia, Haddock. it doesn't matter.

  3. Salutations,

you could use Grouper, but you'll pay alot more for it. at least in the Seafood Dept I work in. Best with Cod I think. but to each there own. Cheers.

    You read up

Since it looks like you are cooking at home I fail to see why not..

I just think the fast foods would order from the wholesalers for the common fish,,

Hasn't the frozen food industry taken over most of the food storage..

  6. Here in the Pacific Northwest, a lot of the fish and chips are made with cod, halibut and red snapper.  Your grouper - since it's also a white fish - would work out just fine.

  7. You can make fish and chips with whatever your heart desires. It is mainly made with cod and halibut.
