I read that the Yiddish language is gradually loosing ground another words its dying is this true?

How is the Yiddish language dying and why?

Is it going to try to increase?

I hate to see the Yiddish language die out because its such a beautiful language GEEZ

1)It is dying. One reason is that during the Holocaust many Yiddish speaking Jews died. Another one is that because there is no place whose language is Yiddish.

2)The people who know Yiddish will try to teach their children but as I said before because no place speaks it They think that it is a useless language.

I agree...Yiddish is a very beautiful language.

The main reason it is dying out is the Holocaust.  Six million European Jews, many of them from shtetls, were wiped out.  The state of Israel took modern conversational Hebrew as its official language.  Nowadays, there are fewer and fewer Jews speaking Yiddish.
