I read that wearing garnet is good for a person born in aquarius. is it true ?

Sometimes i wear stones that are known to be 'healing stones' to help ground myself, like weigh myself down a little (not that i believe it but it does make me feel better.....and i think i'm more grounded, so i am more so)....it works--cogn behav modification or somthing

Yes garnet is the birthstone for January and yes amethyst is the birthstone for February...you are right about that.

I think different sources will all have different interpretations of what the 'lucky' stones are for each sign of the zodiac....there are a lot of a different sources out there that say different things...you have to try to look for reputable authors...and really I think it could be different for each person as well (one might find it lucky while another might find it unlucky...it's how it is perceived from person to person).

I happen to have a lucky turquoise pendant (mineral - not gemstone) .... though I have read different things and mixed reviews about this stone....but it seems to work for me so....it can vary from person to person.

yes and a beautiful stone called a moon or star stone for Aquarius....mine is citrine....I have never owned a real garnet, but they are lovely indeed

I like garnets - have never worn one though.

I always thought that amethysts were the stone for Aquarians?  I always feel calm and serene when I wear amethyst.

My best friend bought me a garnet ring for my birthday 5 years ago and the only time I take it off is to take a shower. Yet, with all the time it spends hanging out on my appendage I haven't seen that much of a difference. It is pretty on my finger though =)
