  1. You are amongst the most common form of dyslexic in the world and one that isn't so hard to overcome. I see d-b q-p 3-8 p-q b-p d-p 8-3 1-i-l .... and then it goes on. being dyslexic means nothing to the modern world even now. we are seen as stupid and unemployable. I can use my PC because I change the colour of my screen so I can see my words and read.

  2. Possibly. Or you are just good at reading upside down. I'm pretty good at it, and I'm not dyslexic.

  3. It's possible, but I doubt that's they only possible diagnosis.  Also, if you can read in any way, it doesn't really matter.  Keep in mind, your teacher is not a mental health professional.

I was diagnosed by my teacher with a learning disability in 1st grade because I studdered and needed glasses, and was put in special ed.  Well, later they discovered I just couldn't see the chalkboard and was too young to know it, I studdered because I was nervous, and ended up testing high enough to skip up to 4 grades if I'd wanted to...

Being dyslexic isn't a bad thing, it's just a different way a brain works.  My brother has dyslexia, but more commonly, that means that letters move around on the page and one's eyes can't focus on them.  Believe it or not, one of the most common therapies is to change the paper color from white to pink or blue.  Suddenly, most kids with dyslexia can read just fine...but most teachers don't know this.

Many teachers will still just say, oh, this kid doesn't read normally, let's put them in special reading classes...my brother can actually read faster than I can if he has a transparent blue screen to put over a page, but because teachers don't know this, he was just in special ed for a few years, as was I.

Keep in mind, the most important thing is that you can read.  You can obviously type and speak correct English.  What else matters?  Most doctors have crappy handwriting that you can't read, but it doesn't mean anything.  If you read upside down, who cares...maybe your brain processes visual signals in a different way than mine does, but if you know what's happening on the page, then big deal.

Lots of people, by the way, like to try to read upside-down just for fun, because it makes your brain think in a different way, and it makes you smarter...while you might be interested in training your brain to read "right-side-up," I would just treat it as an optional fun thing to make your brain work better, it's always good to challenge your brain, but whether you read on blue paper, with glasses, or upside-down, it seems like we can all read just fine!

  4. maby.... see a docter he can tell u for shure

  5. Do you need to read aloud for meaning? yes=dyslexic

Diagnosing dyslexia is almost impossible, it is a shame that most teachers don't know much about remedial reading!

  6. Your teacher isn't a doctor, is she? You should follow what the dude said (a few posts above me). He knows what he's going.
