  1. I had that same problem. He's still my best friend though, and he's okay with me liking him. Just let your friend know how you feel, and tell him that if he doesn't feel the same way, that you really want to stay friends with him. He sounds like a great guy who really means a lot to you, and who's friendship you value. You two's friendship will last a long time, don't worry. Good Luck!

  2. If you don't tell him you will never find out, right?

  3. that is typically how many romances and long lasting relationships start out.  two people that have been friends is the recipe for great marriage stories decades later.

  4. Only you can decide whether to tell him or not.  Try to really be honest with yourself and figure out if the friendship is most important to you. Chances are if you are fairly young, and if you do end up at this stage to be in a relationship with him, eventually it will end. If you are at an age where it could be a lasting relationship then best friends make fabulous couples. So now thinking of the reality of it all, make your choice on what you want the most with him. Good luck and all the best.

  5. Thank GOD I'm not the only one! I have had a friend since 7th grade (I'm a sophomore now) and we liked each other for awhile then it just. Stopped, but maybe it only stopped on his part because I still like him a bit! I think the best thing to do is tell him. If he's that good of a friend he'll understand, it wont be awkward. And who knows, maybe more will come from it!

    Good Luck! =D
