I really like the name Jare for a boy. What do you think?

I'm sure you know, but the name is pronounced like 'bare' with a 'J.' Please simply tell me whether or not you like this as a first name. If you dislike this name, kindly tell me why... Thank you!

i dont like it as a name, Jare is more like a nickname

if someones name is Jeremy i would call them Jare or Jer... it doesnt really fit.

It's interesting.  Not the name you would think of hearing.

It's very imaginative, and I've never heard of it before.

I like it as a nickname.  Since you are considering naming another son Remy, perhaps you could name a second son Jared and call him Jare for short, since Jeremy would not be an option.

In fact, maybe you could have Jeremy (Remy) and Jared (Jare).  Those sound very cute together!

I don't like it.  It sounds made up (because it probably is).  It isn't obvious how it's pronounced, I guarantee people would try to make it a two syllable name (Jah-ray).

it's the first time i've heard this name, so i've said it a few times in order to "listen" to it. i think that it's a name i could get used to!

however, i know people who are named Jeremy, Geraldine, Gerald who are called "jare" or "ger" for short. so it also made me think of these.

at the end of the day it's your baby, and it's you who have to decide. i think all names are beautiful - when you associate them to a person you love. i hate some particular names, not because they sound ugly, but because i know ugly persons who have them!

I don't like it, not to be mean or anything. I just don't like how it sounds. But, then again it's your baby, so you can name it whatever you want! It' s all up to you and if that's the name you like, then go ahead and name him that! That's why you are the parent and you have the privilege to name your cute baby boy! good luck!
