I really like the taste of rum, but I can't drink it straight?

What should i mix it with to keep the taste without it hurting my throat?

I personally dont like Rum and Coke...

try rum with sprite, or sierra mist, or mountain dew, its both sorta light fizzy, unlike coke... so yeah, I guess you could try rum and coke too, since EVERYONE else likes it.. LOL

If you just want the straight flavour, mix it with water to dilute it. Or some other beverage with a mild flavor, like 7UP.

Pineapple juice or orange juice is the best way to go!! Especially is you like the tropicaly taste:)...hope this helps!

Rum and coke is the best.  Well, it's all I have tried I am sure there are other good ones.

Parrot bay cocanut rum is awesome, try that with coke and ice!!!
