I think that you sould just go all out and tell him how you feel. i mean you wait any longer and it could be too late! i think that the best way is to just talk to him about it. let him know asap how you truely feel. thats the best way. just PLAIN OUT SAY IT!!

How old is he? How old are u? How long have u k now him? Does he know who you are? Do you have mutual friends.? Is he part of an activity or grp you are a part of as well?

Is he of the same social grp as u? Is he the same "number" as you ie. a 10, 9, 8?...
