I really like this girl?

Question

i really like thes girl, one day she came up and talked to me and i tried joking with her, she wanted to match shoes with me ad asked where's ur shoes? i said im not wearing them cause you keep asking. sounded too serious so she thought it was real.i did other little things around her like accidentily closeing door on her behind me and etc. now weeks later, she seems slowly ignoring me. like she doesn't realy care anymore, i think she used to like me, i want her to like me again. i want to say sorry, but how would i word it? and when should i say it, she's always with her friends and other guys now? Should i just ive up on her? we someimes play tennis together, we re both top of tennis team at schoo,l should i tell her then? what if i tell her and she thinks im wierd?

hey man, maybe you could just leave her a note saying sry or something, that'd be cute,and then ask her if she  wants to hang out.... or do both things but no notes, orally

Tennis would be a perfect time to speak to her. If you're sure she's slowly disliking you ask her if you've offended her. If she's not down right ignoring you try to show her you like her a bit more  and she'll soon show more interest.

I think the best thing would be to speak to her at tennis.

It is possible that she just wanted to be your friend.  *Gasp* I know it is hard to believe that guys and gals can be friends, but it actually does happen sometimes.  When you started acting 'strange' she probably picked up the vibe that you were just being friendly to score her or something.  Or it could just be that you are over-analyzing the situation and think that it is more than it really is.

Haha, a friend gave me that advice once. But seriously.

On the court is a great time to start up conversation. I wouldn't immediately go into apologies, that can seem pretty desperate. Spend some time getting to know her. Getting to see that you aren't some jerk will alleviate some of those thoughts she might have had about the shoe incident etc. At that point you could apologize but keep it very casual.

Just take your time don't be too eager. After a while try to work in meeting with her in a setting that Isn't the tennis court. Maybe out to lunch for starters. If she reacts well then you can probably tell her you like her without freaking her out haha. Good luck.
