  1. I'm thinking that their "we'll see" response is a way of waiting for you to come up with the money.  So, save the money, and then try again.  Do some research online, so that you know where you want to go, and how much it'll cost.

  2. I'm not totally sure of what your question is, but definitely save up the money and get some brochures and a ton of info on the places you want to go to.  Then tell them again.  Are you still living at home?  Is the issue the money or their permission?

  3. 500 Dollar US, equals to... umm.... around 500 - 600 Euros, right?

Where do you want to travel though?

    Around the States or abroad?

I think it's quite expensive, even for the economy class, to go abroad... I mean, the States is quite "isolated".. Far from Europe, far from Asia..

If I were you, I'd do this...

I travel, just around the States... Not too far away from home, for example, I will travel in places around the State I'm living..

There must be something worth a visit near the place you're living right now,

Just browse the net, and look for those places.. (e.g. The Zoo, Museums, Parks, etc.)

Try for a week or so of travel, I think your parents are being protective to you, as you're a girl (Not being sexist!), it's understandable they're not allowing you on this..

Don't go to the extreme in all of a sudden, like you're asking them to go to Tokyo or Bali.. They will obv. say "NO".. Try places like the zoo, or a neighbouring city... A village, or if you live in big cities like NYC, try the museums.. My Aunt lived in Chicago and she spent a lot of time with her children strolling around the park, or going around the downtown looking at the skyscrapers, or museums and such,

Gain their confidence upon you of you being able to take care of yourself, of course, this will take time, so be patient.. Nothing awfully good comes out of the blue, you have to work for it and be patient...

In the meantime, save up your money, do part time jobs, be a baby sitter, or so on..

Make a deal with your parents, so they can give you extra money, not your normal allowance, this is a different allowance cuz you're working extra.. For example, my bro massages my dad at night, and he gets 5 - 10 Euros weekly, and I paint or sketch for them and the price is not the same, depending on the quality, of course theyre not going to keep it for eternity -idk, but anyways this is a good source of money, ;-) Use and know your own skills and use it for something useful for your parents so they can give you extra money,

Travel takes money, energy, time and a LOT more.. It's also risky with pickpockets or worse... So, that's probably your parents seem to be overprotecting you, as I said, to solve this, you need to gain their confidence...

    Good luck! XD
