  1. Where are you asking from?   How to tell you....in HK, S'pore, London or US----where, which town or city.  When you say wrong isle..... I thought you went to the island to hunt.

Kimchi is korean product, just step in a Korean supermart and there you are on the self.  Check the Korean Web and you can make some yourself, very simple & cheap but taste ---I cannot say because there are a thousand tastes in home-made or branded goods.

Another way, make friends with korean and say your kimchi is very nice, I like it and soon they will give you more....

  2. There is 1 Korean supermarket near Amara Hotel (Tanjong Pagar). You can try there.

    Koreana Trading Pte Ltd

    163 Tras St

    #01-01 Lian Huat Bldg

    Singapore 079024

    Telephone : 6324 5016

    Fax : 6324 5014

  3. If you go to Burlington mall near Sim Lim, there is a small Korean grocery store on the first floor. You can buy bottles of kimchi base in the refrigerated section for S$6-7. Add one kilo of cabbage or any assortment of vegetables and follow the instructions on the bottle.

  4. You can make it yourself. That's what millions of Koreans do!

  5. NTUC supermarket... thats where i got it from. or u can go to a restaurant in bukit batok's westmall call Mayim. they make the kimchi themselves and sell them in bottles with nice packaging.

  6. You can find Kimchi at those location by visit this site:

You can also visit this place to find some Kimchi as my brother has saw Kimchi there before:

Sol Mart (#03-06/07/08) @ Novena Square2. Above Novena MRT Station.

  7. i see them in ntuc le.. try the areas where they sell cold products. usually is there.

  8. well where do you live?  it should be available in any asian food store.  or you can ask a korean restaurant where they buy theirs, or where they buy the ingredients for it.

  9. Do you live in Singapore? If you do, it's always available at the Asian food section, normally beside Japanese goods too. I've seen them in NTUC Fairprice. But if you don't live in Singapore, the Asian food section section in all the supermarkets should stock kimchi. It's rather basic. Similarly, it's found near Japanese goods.
