  1. Aww, poor little guy:(  Just talk it over with your OB, she'll work it out for you.

  2. you can demand a c section next time

  3. the doctor would be an idiot not to insist that you DO have a c-section due to your previous complications.

  4. That's so stupid! Since your pubic bone is small they should have known the birth would have been a problem. Because of some stupid rule that five-pound difference caused a major problem. You should sue the doctor. They should have given you a C-section. If you're a teenager and your pubic bone isn't done growing there's a possibility it will grow bigger and you can have a regular birth. If you're done growing and have future pregnancies, tell the doctor you want a C-section. If nobody's listening and no one seems to care, demand a C-section. You know your body, and you know the trauma caused by your son's birth. You as a patient have needs and rights the doctors are supposed to respect. Isn't the Hippocratic oath supposed to protect the patient from harm?

  5. If you are using the same doctor, then they should know your history and try to figure a plan to avoid those problems in the future.  When it comes time, ask your doctor their thoughts on a scheduled C-Section, it won't hurt to ask.

  6. Well sometimes it is not the babies weight but their bone structure. Usually that occurs due to the shoulders being much wider than the head.  Now that you have had a baby your pelvis will probably adjust to another pregnancy much easier. I would talk it over with your dr and weigh all the risks and benefits. I would recommend against a c-section, they come with their own problems as well that are not pretty and they are not nice to recover from. I know that first hand. But if its better than you need to do what you need to do, just make sure you weigh all aspects first
