  1. anyplace to go swimming? maybe a lake, beach or someones pool? or a hotel party and use that pool and sleepover there. how about a picnic at the park and then you guys can play volleyball or something. how about going on a tour of your local humane society or nature reserve? maybe you can do a spa party and do manicures and facials and stuff at your house. 70s theme and make tye dye shirts.

  2. you  can  go shopping  at  amazon .com you  will see  barbie girl  mp3  player and  a  be  bratz

  3. You get a pile of cookery books (try the library for party food ideas)

On the day, divide into two teams of 3, your spend is limited to £x to spend on ingredients to make party food.

Go to the supermarket with only 45 minutes to shop and return to cook / assemble / prepare the best food you can.

Rope in a couple of independent adults to judge which team wins (think of a prize)

Then scoff all the food while you watch the films

  4. I agree it is difficult to plan a party and keep costs down at the same time.

One thing you can do is like a themed party- for instance for my 16th I had a musical party where everyone came dressed as a character from a musical and we had a right laugh playing old school party games with a theatre twist and lots of music. To add a bit of flare do up the area where the party takes place- you could always print off a load of themed pics, mount them and stick them up everywhere- once you know your theme you can come up with loads of ideas. Like I made a dressing room area for instance. To cut down cost- ask each of your friends to bring something for munchies- a lot of them may even make you cute cup-cakes or something! However this could be a bit easier if you invited a few more friends- for a smaller group then there are places like "go ape" where you can complete an obstacle course with high rope, zip wire etc and I don't think it's too costly.

    Hope this helps!
