  1. First things first...get in shape...I know simple right but you would be surprised to know how many great players got passed over because the never put the time in to get ready for the season.  GET noticed ... for good things not bad...make sure you understand drills before you do them..dont try be first in line every time doing the drill wrong just makes you look bad. If you dont get it watch it done a couple times before your turn.  Most importantly work your but off.  If there is anything special about your game make sure it gets seen... If you got a big slapshot make sure you use it if your a big hitter hit some one, sniper score, fighter. . . well you get the idea...good luck

  2. umm i impressed my coach back in peewee hockey(wow like 5 years ago lol) by destroying kids and sniping the goalie out of his pads lol...

  3. all good things come from hard work. Always keep your head up. Leave everything on the ice. When doing drills, never be last.

  4. WORK HARD.  do not be lazy.  Play to your best.  nothings worse then being good one week and sucky the next.

    good luck

  5. Skate hard! Unless you're a good skater and are fast on the ice, you won't be able to convince any coach that you can be a good hockey player. Even if your passing and body-checking skills are not up to par, you can get selected as long as you are a super fast skater.
