Okay I am in Pre-Algebra and I need help.

In 1995m the people of Spain witnessed the first royal wedding in 89 years. When was the last Spanish Royal wedding?

I took Pre-Algebra in 7th grade....The four step plan? Ask your teacher or a class mate. I'm pretty sure there was nothing about a four step plan in Pre-Algebra unless I forgot what I learned 3 months ago.

If it was the first in 89 years, it happened 89 years before.  If you subtract 89, you will find that year.

I don't know your four step plan.  Hopefully you remember it!

I am not sure what you mean by "four-step" plan, but here is how I came up with the answer.

"first royal wedding in 89 years" means "the last time it happens was 89 years ago".  All I have to do is to subtract 89 from 1995.  And the answer should be 1906.
