  1. What do you mean? When your spinning are you on your toe pick? Are you going on your toe pick when you are trying to turn left or right? What?

  2. You need to explain what you are doing when you keep hitting your toe pick. You should definitely try sitting back more and bending your knees. Balance more on the balls of your feet. It will take practice, but you will eventually stop the habit of hitting your toe pick.

  3. I had the exact same problem. It turned out that I was leaning forward without even realizing it. Just try to think about keeping your head and chest up while you spin.

  4. If you are spinning on your toepick that means you are too far forward. keep your upper body straighter, and if you are doing a scratch spin, lean in on the big to. Backspin:lean out on your baby toe

  5. it just takes practice. you need to  find the sweet spot of your blade which is right below the toe pick on the ball of your foot. that's were you should spin.

  6. What are you trying to do when you turn on your toe pick?  Are you doing 3-turns or in what is the toe pick causing you problems?  To stay off your toe pick, try bending your knees more and sitting a little farther back on your blade.  That's all I can give you for now with little info.  :)

  7. When you turn on your toe pick in a spin, it's because you're not on the right part of your foot. You should always spin on the ball of your foot, unless you're in a camel spin, in which you should spin closer to the back of your blade. In a jump, if you turn on your toe pick it's probably because you're not waiting long enough on your edges. I also have trouble with that sometimes. If you're just skating and you turn on your toe pick, your probably pushing your legs straight back instead of out, very common in the novice level.

  8. This a very annoying and very common habit but don't stress.

All you have to do is shift your weight a little bit back. So instead of spinning on your toes, you spin on the ball of your foot.

In case you don't know the ball of your foot is right between your toes and the fleshy curved part of your foot it's also where most of the bones of your toes start.

That should do the trick but you could benefit from trying to keep your knee and back straight too.
