1) give an example of a linear function that has no zero. then give an example for a linear function that has infinitely many zeros.

2) the product of the slopes of 2 non-vertical perpendicular lines is always -1. is it possible for 2 perpendicular lines to both have positive slope? explain.

  1. 1) x=0, y=0

    2)no it's not possible because if the product is negative, then one of the slopes has to be negative.
