Hey people. Well just the other day i was at a drive through and i noticed my radiator gage hit about 260. Well right than and there my radiator pops. The next day i got a new radiator and a new electric fan since apparently the radiator busted since my fan wasn't working. Well we get the new fan and radiator in and it works so im like perfect!. Well later on that day the fan stops working so im like wtf? So my mechanic takes a look at it and does a direct connection from the fan to the battery and it doesnt work so we take the fan back from where we bought it and they tested it and it worked so it pretty much made us look like liars ya know. Well the guy there said it might be the relay so we bought that also and the mechanic put it in and the fan still doesn't work. Could this be an electrical short somewhere in the vehicle? i really need some help and i took it to another shop and they pretty much said they didnt know what to do. All help is appreciated

  1. You're mechanic might have put 12 volts to one radiator motor wire but didn't check the ground wire. That ground connection is probably what was wrong with the original fan.

  2. there is a cooling fan relay under the pass side head light bucket have your mechanic remove headlight bucket use a two inch hole saw drill just to the left of the center straight down and you will see the solid state relay module bolt down just to the left through the hole that's why no fan 75-80 buck from parts store ive done tons of them at my shop
