I really need help with my curve 8320 from t-mobile?

I just got my blackberry curve 8320 in the mail today. me and my mom got the same phone. we are both using ventones to get free ringtones and i cant seem to download them. everytime in the txt msg it will say go to link so i go to link and then it says something about wifi. but it will work for my mom. what can i do?
