  1. A straight push is caused by an inside to out swing, and a club face square to that path (or open to your ideal target).

The most common cause of this is a slide with the hips. If your body moves past the ball, then you have to 'hold on' to the club so you do not duck hook it.

Be sure you are indeed lined up correctly before you adjust anything. There are multiple points of alignment - feet, hips, shoulders, and clubface. Make sure the first 3 are parallel left of the target. Usually this is about 15 yards left of your target line.  Of course the club face needs to be aligned to the actual target.

If all that is well, then at impact note the position of your hips. If your hips are past your left foot then you are indeed sliding.

    Good Luck

  2. Its hard to say without seeing your swing, but make sure your ball position is correct.  also ensure the club face is square to the target through impact.

  3. Well my dad was a golf pro forever and this might not help but put your feet together and swing the club slow and smoothly. It always helps me.

  4. if the ball goes straight right and not turn at all, then you're pushing it..  means that you're getting the clubhead square to the target at impact, but you're swinging too much from inside-to-out

  5. You could have your club face open and not realize it. If you close it, you may see a good result. That's my guess.

  6. get a trainer?

  7. Try video taping it. And try slowing down your swing so you can "feel" how youre swinging.
