so i have 4 animals, 1 dog who is 9 months,3 cats.

2 of my cats i had for years.

1 of them is new we rescued her.

the dog as well we adopted her

so the 3rd cat we got stays under the futon away from the other two and she stays in the living room and like doesn't roam the house,

the other two always attack her and we have had her for almost a year and they still dont get along. so now the cat is starting to not go in her cat litter, like she will **** somewhere and then we find and i get pissed or she will pee on the futon making me clean it.

now the other two cats go into her cat litter and i think thats the problem but we also have the puppy but she stays away from the cats..we are ready to give up the 3rd cat because there is to much drama and she is just causing more drama, she doesn't fight back when she is attacked she gets into spaces where she can get attacked.

so i really dont know what to do,we are thinking of building a big cage for just her since she doesn't go anywhere anyways and she could have a cat litter and food with water and space to chill with of course air...but i really need help i dont want to give her up

  1. Get rid of the cat. DUH

  2. if you don't want to give her up.  then either build her own space or give her her own room.

  3. most cats get used to each other after a while, but it sounds like ur other 2 have dominance issues. Try using a spray bottle on the original 2 cats. they need to learn that its ok for the other cat to come out and that u will protect her from them, until they learn to play nice. plus the other cat needs t learn that u will protect her also. otherwise she wont come out. Good Luck

  4. you didn't introduce them properly. Let her get used to one room on her own. Keep the other animals out. Then once she is comfortable, allow 1 pet in at a time, just for a little while each day, keep doing this for about a month and when it is used to all the pets, open the door and let it come and go as it pleases. Also, keep the litter box seperated when you do finally move the cat into the house.
