"What are the chances of getting caught a week after it happened if it was something small that was on camera(stealing). If they seen it wouldn't something of already been done about it???"

This is a question I got in an myspace message I got from a friend. What is the answer?

My response was "Idk I guess if you were gonna get caught you would've been caught by now" Is that right?

I think she wants to know what are the chances of the store looking at the tapes and seeing her. She said it was like $2 and some odd cents for food...I think she said Deli meat. But you can never tell with her but saying that it was that what do you think. She's been back into the store (with me O___o) and her dad is friends with the owner (which makes it more retarted)

  1. You would have been scooped already. Most stores run their tapes through a loop system and reuse them, the only places that are kept on file longer are banks, atms, courthouses, etc.. Most stores are wiped clean or recorded over every 48 hours at the most.  If you had been spotted shop lifting the store security  would have caught up with you right then and there.

A $2 shoplifting charge is not something you want to throw your future away over so next time just keep in mind that the  "eye in the sky" is watching, and eventually YOU WILL BE CAUGHT!!!

  2. the chances of geting away form it are very slim unless you come up with a crazy plan to beat the camra that was someting out of mission impossible then you might be free

  3. After so long they cant do anything about it with the police, like you said if so it would have definitely already been done. Unless they do re-watch the videos and notice that its there friends daughter. They could call the police and say they know who the suspect is and if they decide to press charges she could get in a bit of trouble. But i mean what are the chances ya know?  They might tell her dad or tell you and her shes not aloud no more. But i think if any of that they would of stopped and say something to her as soon as they seen her a time after the stealing lol.  So im sure shes fine. Tell her quit being a theif and her anxiety will be gone lol. j.k
