Here is the evil thing:

Suppose p[subscript 1]=1 and q[subscript 1]=2, p[subscript n]+1=q[subscript n]+3 and q[subscript n]+1=p[subscript n]+4 for all n≥2. Give the first six values of each sequence p and q.

It would be extremely helpful if you could show the steps in the answer.

  1. I don't think the problem is stated correctly.

    Question can not be solved with current setup.

    Maybe something like p(n+1)=q(n) +3 ....
