  1. I think dropping out would be the stupidest thing you'll ever do in life!

A painting business??? You'll need education in the business field for a successful business whether you're good at painting or not. Education is the law because it's also a necessity. Believe me, I don't like school any more than the next, but I'm a senior in college who just applied to grad school... so if I get in, I'll spend 3 more years in school after I complete this year. I hate school but I love the learning part. There are so many interesting things to learn in life and to just give up is sad!!!

I say stick it out... it'll get better if you apply yourself and really understand what the teachers are teaching...otherwise you'll just sit there without understanding how interesting it really is. Find a subject you enjoy and research into it. If you enjoy painting, take an art class...

  2. well, I think that you should observe all possibilities. Why not check out a tech school. It has a totally different atmosphere and you won't spend a lot of time there, most programs take less than a year. You can also look into job corps, they are a program sponsered by the department of labor and they pay you to be in the program. If your sixteen you can start right away and they help you get your high school diploma, or GED, and they help you get your permit/ drivers licence, they give you money for clothes and they give you money every other week. the longest you can be in there is two years. You can learn a lot of different trades there. Check out  <>http://jobcorps.dol.gov/> and you can find a local job corps center. oh, by the way, if you want you can move out of your parent's house and live on center. And if you move away to a center not near your house then they will send you home for holidays if you want. If you want to know more I'll be glad to let you know, I've been in the program since 2006.

  3. To talk to your teachers and tell them that you find the work that they

are giving to do really easy and you would like it if they would give you

some more challenging work to do.  Frankly, this business of you

dropping out of school is the loser's way out.  And what will you do ten

years down the road?  Or twenty?  What then?  Before making a big

decision like this, talk to other people who dropped out of school and

your family and weigh the pros and cons about your decision.

  4. No I don't think so.

"Keep working hard right now so that you'll work less in the future".

All my aunts and uncles wished they would of went to college and right now they are working their asses off to provide for their families.

My dad is 43 and he is going to college right now he thought he didnt need college when he was younger.

Theres nothing to loose and much more to gain if you just work hard and GO TO COLLEGE.

  5. my dad and a lot of my friends dads are painters, carpentars and stuff like that where you dont go to college for. if you dont want to and you feel you shouldnt then dont. follow your heart.. start a bussinus and stuff. just cause you dont go to college doesnt mean you wont be sucesful at all. my family is well off and my dad dropped out of college. and if you change your mind you can always go back to some sort of college. good luck!
