I really need to contact someone in Germany, How do I dial????

Ok, I have to call a bunch of hotels in Germany but none of the numbers seem to be complete. I know how to dial for abroad but somewhere among the 49 and the rest seem to be missing...

I have these:

+49 (0) 6851/7788 in St. Wendel

+49 (0) 6321/926892 in Neustadt an der Weinstrabe

0049 is the preselection for germany from most countries, but not all.From the US its usually 01149.

In your example, the first number to dial would be

0049 6851/7788 if you are in UK

01149 6851/7788 if you are in the US.

If that doesn't work, try leaving out the very first 0.
