  1. I've done this before, it costs a LOT of money and the dog is a huge burden.

Try to convice her to use a kennel or dog watcher instead

  2. I WOULD not take your dog to Mexico. That is a bit risky.

  3. Depends on how large the dog is.  If it's small, it can fit into one of those soft-sided carriers and be placed under the seat in front of the passenger.  If it's larger, you need to get a carrier and ship him.  Of course, it's loud and cold in the cargo bin, so I wouldnt' do that to a dog.  Also, check the quaranteen requirements for Mexico.  Taking animals to another country is usually a big deal.  Good luck.

  4. I would call the airline you want to fly with and ask them.

  5. shipping is 20 bucks flat rate and the wait is only 5-6 days. tell her to leave the thing at home in a pound or at a dog place where they look after them for you...cant remember what there called.

  6. Dear just a girl,

Go to the website of the airline and see what their rules are governing doggies. It'll be listed in their baggage info for sure.

  7. Don't bother, especially traveling to Mexico, they will quarantine the dog for days and it will cost you dearly........take him or her to the kennel of friends, plus nowadays traveling with pets on an airline is a no-no!!
