  1. 1 is attic!

  2. Well, of course there is also no way for us to tell from here how your apartment building is constructed.  If one takes a wild guess and assumes your building is the most typical inexpensive construction, the answers might be these:

    Basement:  None

Attic:  R-30 Fiberglass batt insulation installed over ceiling joists.

Walls:  R-19 Fiberglass roll insulation and 3/4 inch styrofoam sheathing board.

There could be many other types depending on the age of the building, whether it has a flat roof, what kind of exterior finish, and whether the landlord is a decent person or a greedy pissant.

A basement might be insulated with one or more layers of 2 inch foam insulation or with R-19 Fiberglass roll insulation of a type made specifically for basements.

Also, a typical electric stove with oven draws between 15,000 and 20,000 watts.  If you run it for one hour, thats 15,000 KWh to 20,000 KWh.

Of course those figures assume you have all the burners on and the oven hot.  It's wired to be used that way.  If you only have one burner on, it's whatever wattage the burner is rated for.

A typical electric washing machine draws about 1,100 Watts, or 1,100 KWh per hour.
