I really really miss this horse?

Question

I went to California for 5 days and I live in NY. I rode this really cute horse 4 times. Anyways I'm back now and I miss him so much. Whenever my mom asks me about horseback riding I feel like crying. Whenever I see my dog it reminds me of that horse because they are both animals and I cry. What can I do?

P.S: I may be seeing him again in a year but I still miss him a lot

You could take lessons and love another horse!! or half lease?!!

I wouldn't recommend buying a horse unless you are very experienced have a ton of money and know how to ride, feed and over all care for one. Look to the future!

yer i sold my horse to and i missed him lots but i just got a new hobby and helped me forget about it

You could start riding lessons with a similar horse, you will feel a connection.

well you could call the people he is with and ask them how he is doing

well i got attached befor and i wanted to buy it but i had no money maybe you could move to the country and ask if the horse is on sale but if not still move to the country and get attached to another horse

I know exactly how you feel! We moved away from this amazing stud that I was riding and competing on because the owner's were afraid of him. I feel so bad for him, I know he just sits in a pasture all day with nothing to do. :(

At least you can look forward to going back in a year. The best you can do is think of that, rather than the fact that you aren't with him now.

Maybe you could call the stables where he is at and speak to whoever is riding him...it could be a connection that would keep you from feeling like you do.

if you can afford buy him, if not go ridin at a local place, or try to move on and then if you see him next year you could get loads of photos and stick them on your wall, if you already got photos stick them up, you may feel sad and have a good cry, get it out your system and move on, but you will see him everyday, but on ur wall.
