I really really want to become a London Underground tube train driver, How can I do this? What do I need to do

You only have a slim chance as there is heavy demand for train drivers but if it,s the underground bit you fancy i can get you a job in a coalmine

Unfortunately, London Underground no longer recruit drivers externally. You'd need to start off as a Station Assistant and aplly from within.

I don't think they're recruiting at the moment but they are sure to be again soon. They're always on the lookout for new staff.

You need to be a bone idle selfish leftie ready to go on strike at a moments notice (as already said above).

Also you need the intelligence of the average cheese plant and about as much patience.

well i think you should go for it,write to them for an application form.The only thing that may prevent you is if you are colour-blind.If you can say 'mind the gap'loudly and cleary that would be a defnite advantage.
