Yeah. Let's see. I've been on the computer since 3 this afternoon. I'm supposed to be writings freaking essays for my dumb summer ap project. But I can't focus. :[

It's difficult to hold your attention span for more than about 40 minutes.Set yourself a 40 minute work period and then award yourself 10 minutes break,walk round,have a drink,get back to another session.It's like doing a real life job,you need to set a work discipline.That's the advice given to distance learning and research students by the Open University.For each work period set yourself a specific task,research,revise your research,decide if you need any more research,plan the next paragraph,etc.

This might take u a while to read so read this when u have time to. I found this on googlescholar.com. Googlescholar, if u haven't heard of it, is one of the best sites to go to for scholarly information. This will tell u about distance learning and though it's for teaching distance learners, it will give u an idea of how to focus.

On average, my psychology teacher said that our attention span only lasts for, I think she said it was about 30-40 minutes. For some ppl it's a lot shorter. Depending on what the lecture is about, some ppl's attention span, in my opinion, lasts for only 8 minutes. lol.
