  1. You need to get alot of the facts about ferrets, so that you can tell them alot of good things about them.

       You need to also make your parents feel bad, so that if they ask what you want for your birthday, say well I don't want anything but a ferret.

    Ups= Very smart

              Very playful

              Adorable

              Can live for a long time

    Downs= Smell very bad

                   Very messy

                    Get cancer easily.

  2. they smelllllll bad

    the ferret itself is like100+$ and the cage is 100+ dollars

    they are playful but you need to clean the cage a lot

  3. this is so not going to help u,sorry!

    but i'm completely against a ferret

    1)the nails omg can u say scary

    2)how com u trein them

    3) have u seen there faces ( they are like overgrown rats)

    u can get something easier like a snake (whit out the venom)

  4. ups: cute, loving, playfull, i read a book in which a ferret saved a girl's life

    downs: stanky, illegal if u live in california

  5. Upsides: You can keep them in cage. They are very friendly. They take pain really well. They are hilarious. They sleep most of the day. You can entertain them with simple things - such as a Jolly Rancher bag. They are easy to give a bath. They get along great with other pets and people.

    Downsides: They shed. They do really smell. Their p**p is the worst smell ever. They smell like a skunk if you miss their monthly bath. They are expensive to care for. They are very social - and often require a ferret buddy. They are hard to potty train. They cost a lot to buy. You have to take them to the vet often. A lot of vets do not do ferrets. They do not give up trying to get into things. They do like making messes. They are hard to keep track of unless they are in a cage.

    But they smell really bad. You can get them descented, but they still smell really bad. You walk into my Dad's house and that's all you can smell. It gives me a headache. The first time I cleaned out their cage, I puked.

    But they are great pets and if your parents let you you should get 1 or 2. I love mine.

  6. Read, read and then read more if your really want a ferret.  They can be fun and very loving if treated with love and respect so you need to learn how to care for them.  They are carnivores so they need to eat meat which makes their urine and poo very smelly.  Cleaning the litter box daily and sometimes twice a day is required.  They also need to be set free in your home for several hours a day if you want them to be healthy and happy because they are not rodents and do not make good caged animals.

    They are prone to many illnesses and require a specialized diet (not a cheap cat food full of corn or wheat) so you should have a way to support the food and vet bills.  I love ferrets but they are a lot of work.

    Since you have too many animals already, it sounds like you are responsible and take care of your animals.  It would not be right to get rid of your loving pets to get another so maybe you can wait until your parents feel more comfortable with a ferret?  Ferrets can be very destructive to a beautiful home and you don't want your parents to get angry if there is p**p on the floor because you are litter training your ferret.  I suggest your study ferrets, their history and food and housing requirements and talk to your parents.  Show them how interested you are in having a ferret for a friend.  Maybe make a board like a school presentation.  See how they respond.

  7. Upside: playful, fun, gives you responsibility

    Downside: they smell and they can be really vicious

  8. UP: playful

           litterboxtrained

            exciting

           teaches you responsibility

           clean animals

    DOWNS: They WREAK!

                     as all animals, they need to be trained
