I really want a hamster but my parents said i can never have a pet.?

Okay so today i spent the day cleaning the house to show my parents i can be responsible. For over 13 years my parents said i can never have a pet except a fish. And they dont want a hamster because they dont want a pet and also because they stink. What can i do to make them change their mind?

Well first off, hamsters don't smell at all if you clean the cage propery.

But if your parents are set on no, just wait until you move out :P

You stated that you spent the day cleaning the house. Does this mean that your parents are concerned that you are irresponsible? If that is the case, ask them if you demonstrate responsibility over a period of time, say maybe a month, if that would meet their demands. Also, talk to your local pet store and find out if there is anything that you can do to help minimize the pet smell. Whatever you do, do not disobey your parents. Good luck!
