Should I go out and buy it anyway and use it while he is at work and hide it. I really want to get fit and at home is the easiest way. I hate the gym

  1. Yes, I would definitely buy it. I bought one when they first came out and I still use it all the time.

  2. I have had mixed reports on the WII from different people who are totally different people.

My best advise is look at your life and see what you have already brought. Do you buy something then get sick of it and leave it in the cubourd like my partner????

Just think and see if it works for you.

  3. well if its your money then he cant stop you, if you want it, you go and get it its that simple

  4. I think you will both love it.  The golf and bowling are fun.

You should not buy it and hide it, that is just wrong.

  5. Don't hide things.  Communication is the most important thing in a relationship.  Without it, you're only asking for more trouble down the road.

If he's that stingy, maybe the two of you aren't right for each other.

If you're willing to work for it and save the money up, and he's still not wanting you to get one, you have other problems that you need to get straightened out.

  6. I have it. I feel that if you are unfit and are serious about losing weight and getting fit then you will continue to use the game - however, if you are already fit and don't need to lose weight then you'll probably get bored. I find that I actually use it more than I would go to a gym!

  7. this is a weird question.  It's like half psychology half wii.  Either go buy it and hope he changes his mind, try to convince him, or don't worry about it.

Wii Fit is a fun workout game but it is easy to get more excited than what it its worth.

  8. Buy good games like

    Super Smash Bros. Brawl

    Mario kart Wii

    No More Heroes

    Boom Blox

    Zack and Wiki

    Resident Evil 4

    Super Mario Galaxy

    Metroid Prime 3 Corruption

    Okami

    WarioWare

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

and you will play your wii for a long time

  9. the wii fit is the top selling home exercise program sold today.there is a multitude of exercises that can be done in the privacy of your own home ,i would definitly buy it.

  10. first: It's your money :)

second: I don't blame your partner, 90bucks Isn't exactly cheap

    anyways,

My suggestion Is that you should go online (the official website) and see for yourself.

As with all fitness stuff, It doesn't matter If you buy It or not. YOU HAVE TO USE IT.

Wii fit Is more about fun then "real" fitness, you might be better off buying an excise machine (there are ones under $100 that work)

    good luck!

  11. I'm no counselor, but I wouldn't recommend hiding something like this. Talk to your partner about it. Do you have the money to buy this? If so, work out a deal. Tell him that you want to get it, that you think it will improve your health and lifestyle and that if it turns out you don't use it regularly, you can sell it to someone on eBay (and maybe make money on it).

I have a Wii; my wife bought me one for my birthday. She was never all that into video games, but she's wound up playing it just as much or more than me. My bet is that your partner will be thanking you for getting the Wii.

  12. I wouldn't go behind his back and do something he's not supporting. Tell him how important it is to you and ask him to work out with you. My son-in-law has a wii and he loves it. He has my daughter and grand-daughters play with them and they make it a family night. Good luck.
