I really want the new sidekick 08?

i have the sidekick slide in red but i REALLLYYYy want the new sidekick 08. not the tony hawk one but the one with the changeable face plates. now the thing is i just got my slide in like may so i dont think tmobile will gve me the phone at a discount because i had to extend my contract to like 2010. anyway i want to buy the new sidekick at itsz discounted price instead of paying 300 bucksz for it. how can i get it at the cheaper price without having to extend my contract again???

buy it off ebay and make sure ur just buying it and not with a contract

then once u get the phone for cheaper and it gets to you just take out the sims card in your phone and switch into the new sidekick.

My advice is to forget the sidekick 2008 or any sidekick and get a different smart phone, there is no real difference between the sidekick slide or Lx and the new 2008 model. I currently have a sidekick LX, and have been very disappointed with the phone, I am now shopping for a replacement because the sidekick is too restrictive and limiting. I am now looking at blackberry phones, thinking about the 8120 pearl model. The blackberry phones have more features than the sidekick phones, plus the blackberry phones preform the same fuctions but a lot better! I advise against getting a sidekick, its a nice looking phone but cannot do much with it because the phone os is too restrictive. my main pet peeves about the sidekick phones is the call quality is poor, lose signal all the time, lack of applications, and are forced to spend $2.49 for a ring tone from the download catalog! Why can't I I use my own custom ring tones, all the other mobile phones on the market have been doing this for years, but not the sidekick phones!!! its a scam to force you to buy them from the service provider!!!
