Question:

I really want this new car, but should I do it financially?

I will be paying 350 for a car, 170 for a motorcycle, and then 200 for a month for the combined insurance. Is this too much for vehicle costs? I'm 22 and trying to make it on my own and still in college almost ready to graduate. Is this unreasonable? This is twice as much as my rent almost.

  1. If in doubt, don't do it.

  2. Save you money.  You don't want to start out your professional career in debt.

Buy somthing used for the cheaper insurance, buy a house, and then start looking at cars.

  3. The answer may vary by person. It would be a good idea to hear some of them and try to choose the best one. Here is a good one.http://car-insurance.bestips.info/car-in...

  4. nevermind the motorcycle, it is a pleasure vehicle.  You can do with or without it.  A car is a necessity. The question is do you have to spend

$350 a month for a car?  Can you buy something cheaper?  I don't see a problem with your expenses, per se. The only problem I would have is if you started spending money for chrome rims, expensive

car stereo, and other modifications. This is a waste of money.

You need to be wise and keep your money for a house in the future.

  5. if it is a BRAND NEW car, then go for it.

  6. Thats way too much. You should probably get rid of the car or motorcycle if you really want it though.
