  1. There's *nothing* around you?  No community theater or little theater somewhere within reach?  If not, you could always try to get a drama program started at your school - speak with your administrators.  Even if that doesn't work, you could start a drama club to do things on a smaller scale.  Very often, churches do pageants around Christmas or Easter - it's not the best scenario, but it is practice.  There are plenty of good books you could read on the subject - I think there might even be one called "On Acting".  Does your local cable station have a public access channel?  You could do your own performances with your friends and get them aired.  Cable channels often have a small studio for use by public access shows.  Be sure to watch movies that feature great performances by other actors.  This is probably the easiest thing for you to do.  Rent all of the Oscar-winning "Best Actor/Actress" films and study the performance of the winners.  Actually, the winners of the Screen Actors Guild awards might be better, since they are voted on by their peers.  Watch shows on acting whenever possible.  "Inside the Actor's Studio" isn't always the most informative show on the process of acting itself, but it does frequently have good information about how established actors started, and how they got experience.  Your local bookstore will have some screenplays or stage plays that you can purchase.  Get these and act them out in front of a videocamera.  Play them back and observe your technique.  Also, when you rent DVDs, look for the special features menu and see if they have any features on the casting of the movie.  Watching established actors at an audition or screen test can be very informative.

    Good luck.

  2. No theatre at your school and no community theatre in town or plays at church?  You are stuck!

  3. Read as much as you can about acting techniques or anything about acting.  The best way to get experience is to be in shows.  Audition for anything that you can at your local theatre, even if you don't want to.  Also, you can learn so much from watching performances!  Try to find a school that has a decent acting program, even if its not a good one, it is better than nothing.  Find out about schools near you that go to distict and state competitions.  I went to state a few months ago and learned a ton and had a great time where I got to meet other people from different schools.  The best part about state is that you can take free classes!

  4. 1. Training. Acting/Dancing/Singing classes are a good start. You start to get some talent under your belt, and grow your confidence. Plus, if after about a year of classes if you realize you really don't like it, it'll be easier for you to back out.

    2. Experience. Do Community Theater, act in your school play, get in some student films, etc. You'll want to do as many productions as possible to have a great resume.

    3. Agent. http://www.soyouwanna.com/site/syws/tale...

As you can see, you're going to need to spend at least two years (At the VERY least. Usually you'll need three to four.) building yourself up. You'll want to make sure this is what you really want to do before you start getting into this.

Also, you should NEVER have to pay for anything when it comes to getting an agent. If an agent tells you to take special classes from them or a website asks for a credit card number, that is a red flag that it is a scam. Some of the big scammers out there are: John Robert Powers, Millie Lewis, John Casablancas, Proscout, Model Look, Barbizon.

Hope this helps and I wish you a fantastic career. =)

  5. I am an actress and i will help you as much as i can darling!

First of all do u badly wnt 2 b an actress? Is ur life all about acting? Is this wat u really want?

Anyway try the internet for drama schools or drama clubs near you. Or join an acting school (thats what i did and i still am !)

If there are any problems just email me

    x :)

  6. Start early, as you're doing now. Pay attention to the classified ads in places like www.craigslist.org under the "Gigs" category. Most major cities have some filming and casting going on all the time. If you get hired for a 30 second bit part, great! By itself this isn't impressive but if you get hired many times for such small parts a bigger part may well come your way. Movie producers need people of all shapes and sizes.

It also helps to take drama classes. If you can't afford any or find any near you, get a classic modern play such as "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" and act out every character's part.Do this in front of a mirror and observe yourself for nervous mannerisms. If you find any, try to make them less obvious. In time you'll gain control over them.

Involve your friends. Most people like to act, at least as far as pretending goes.

  7. First you going to have to go to acting schools for training. Not only one but a couple. Then you should get in local plays, school plays, student films. You could search for auditions on craigslist.com or subscribe to backstage.com The you should get headshots that look like you. Professional headshots are pretty expensive they cost $200-$1000 but on craigslist you could find less expensive headshot that range from $50 to $150. As you get more and more credits on your resume, you may want to go for an agent. An agent gets you auditions and they want people who they think would nail all the auditions they give. If you get a part in an audition. The money you make out of that work you pay 10% to your agent. ONLY 10%. If they ask for money upfront they are a SCAM. Once you get an agent you would start getting a lot of auditions which means more audition. As you make money out of roles you make you may want to get professional headshots. Then in the future you may want to join Union such a SAG, AFTRA , AEA.... HOPE I HELPED
