  1. Your 100m time isn't 9.8 seconds I can guarantee you that. If it was you'd not only be the fastest woman in the world, but you'd be one of the 5 fastest people in the world (including men).

Choose whatever distance you are best at. Enter yourself first into national British level events. Then if you are good enough you will be able to get into IAAF level events, like Golden League events.

  2. Win the local meets, go for the nationals and be the best from Wales. Then you have to go head on against the rest of Europe. Some people start training as young as four for the Olympics.

If your parents are immigrants from a small under represented nation, you can always flyback to the homeland and try your chances there.

  3. Good Luck! Ambitions are good, but don't pin all your hopes of becoming an athlete, there is some tough competition out there.........

  4. Train and take care of yourself.  If you are good you will find the right coach and it will be a career and not a hobby!  I wish you the best luck as I am Welsh-American!

You have to work to be YOUR best and in so doing, win meets where ever you are.

  5. If you are a female who can run 9.8 seconds which I seriously doubt, I'm very pleased that the quickest ever woman is from Great Britain!

However, maybe you should time yourself properly on a measured track so you can get a realistic measurement of how quick you can run, then tell us the real times so we can evaluate your chances of the Olympics.

  6. gotta be really fast (obvious)

    get sponsors (idk how)

    know ppl

  7. You have a lot of work if your time for 100m is 9 minutes.  If that was a typo and the time is 9.8 seconds, then you've actually shattered the women world record of 10.76.

In any case, you need to start competing.  You can only qualify after you've competed first at the city level then on up to national level.

    EDIT

My mistake the world record for women 100m dash is 10.46.  So your time of 9.8 will obliterate that record, if it's true.

  8. well whats your time, the chances are verry low of being in the olypics.
