  1. listen to your coach ,make helpful suggestions ,make out training is fun but most of all remember there is no i in team

  2. Just become the halfback!! Even if you aren't captain, you'll get to talk a lot and do a lot of the initiation of plays.

  3. First thing you should do is tell your caoch you want to be captian believe it or not most of the team will not want to be captain. A captain is a leader. Leaders are people that can keep there cool when all else do not, they can except decision while aother are still upset, and can quickly focus and unite a team. The abilty to question a ref rather than argue with him.

I would suggest joining a debating team and learning the art of debating. Alot of schools have leadership classes or out of school leadership classes. But most of all tell the coach what you want to be and why.

  4. Try as hard as u can so u can get noticed!

  5. since it is your first year, i don't think you'll make it  but try anyway.

work hard and help others who need help

  6. well, if its your first year, you might have a hard time with being captain. however, if you have a great attitude and work hard, then you'd have a good chance of being captain next year. good luck :)

  7. Well, I suggest in training and games, if you see someone struggling pick them up and run with them. If your team is discouraged or losing tell them not to quit. If your team is confused get them in the right direction. It doesn't matter how loud you are it matters what you say.

  8. The person who should be captain should know the game as well as the referee.  Study up.

  9. Gain the respect of your team mates and coaching staff by providing a positive attitude to everything the team does together. Focus on the weaker individuals in your team and help them develop as players with the help of the coaching staff. Put your hand up to assist those weaker players away from team training and make sure the coaching staff know that your doing that. Every player in your team will follow by your example and follow you if this leads to success or even a few losses. Be gracious in defeat but be concious of having input whether it is into team meetings that will be pro-active to ensuring that you are part and parcel of building the spirit of your team.

The loudest does not constitute the best person for the captains job. It is the person that leads from the front and has the respect of others.
