I really want to become a mermaid?

me and my friend have been little mermaid fans for years. we know its possible. if anyone can help us that would be great

I recently used this spell:

Scale
Make me a mermaid
Fish
I wish
I were a mermaid
Sea
I want to be
A mermaid
(Repeat 3 times)
I said the spell during a full moon. My legs got a little scaly and blue-tinged, but I was distracted by my pet fish and I messed up the spell. Interestingly enough, I had the ability to communicate with my fish afterwards. If being a mermaid is anything like being a fish, I can't wait for the next full moon so I can become one.
