I really want to fix my pronounciation !!?

Question

the hardest part of english pronounciation is rder / rter sound for me :(

i pronounce all of em like in british accent ..

for example order -> oh der

reporter -> re poh ter

harder -> hah der

can people still understand me and don't think im weird if i say em

like that ?

plzzz help me cuz im taking AP english 11 this year and what if ppl

start laughing at me when i read my presentation or something .. :p

I can understand you when you talk, it's the netspeak I can't figure out...

To say harder, first say "arrrr!" like a pirate. Your r-sound comes from the throat. If you don't know what a pirate sounds like watch http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=2cKCkbWDGw... or search for another video with pirates in it. Now say "harrrr!" Then say "harrrrr - der" seperately and then try to combine them into normal time.
