Question:

I really want to get in shape.....?

Yes, I know, yet another "I want to get in shape!" question. lol. Well, anyways, I'm turning 14 in less than a month, and starting high school in less than two weeks. I really wanted to lose some weight this summer, but I didn't. Oh, by the way, I am a girl. So...I'm 5 ft 2 inches and 135 pounds. soo anyways.....I was thinking about doing Track and Feild.......it will be the second and third quarter of school......Fall and Winter?? Something like that, lol....so i need to get in shape.....

okay so...... what should i eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner? i need to know something to eat in the morning that will last me for a few hours....like 4 hours or so.....like desperatly.....last year i would eat like a bowl of cereal and my stomach would be growling IN CLASS only like 3 hours later!!! embarrasing much!

typical day:

breakfast:

1 cup of wheat chex, 3/4 cup of fat free milk (i only drink fat free)

lunch:

2 pieces of wheat toast with a little bit of margerine on both piece with a piece of american cheese. (grilled cheese lol) and probably a glass of milk.....sometimes chocolate milk lol......

snack (if i have one): 100 calorie pack

dinner: some white meat chicken, pretty much any type of veggie, and something like whole wheat noodles or brown rice. to drink: diet coke or cyrstal light iced tea.....healthier version of iced tea lol

desert (if i have any): skinny cow ice cream sandwich......pretty much a much healthier version of an ice cream sandwich, lol.

but i need something that fills me up more for breakfast.....im not exactly a big fruit fan........i love yogart though.....any good brands maybe?

im really onlt doing track to lose weight and get healthy....i HATE running, lol. so, will doing track help me lose weight? i think i eat pretty healthy......but i dont exercise as much as i should.....

so, is track a good idea? what should i be eating to fill me up but also lose weight?

  1. If you hate running, don't join track. It's gonna suck when the coach makes you run 3 miles and sprint around the track 4 times. I think you are eating healthy. And eat something with carbs to fill you up.


  2. I think your question is about what to eat for breakfast so you won't get hungry halfway through the morning, but I'm not sure!  lol  

    Include more protein in your breakfast and that will keep you from getting hungry.  Include peanut butter, cheese, eggs, hummus, whatever your like that has good protein in it and that will help you tremendously.  Yogurt might not be enough.  In terms of brands of yogurt we all have different tastes so experiment until you find one that works for you.
